If someone has to go it should be Jackson.

Perhaps Hamilton secretly identified as a woman. Shouldn’t that be enough?

Secretary Lew also reiterated his commitment to continue to honor Alexander Hamilton on the 10 dollar bill.",

Libtards love Hamilton because his ideas were a combination of dictatorial monarchy, centralized power, imperialism, and economic mercantilism.

Wasn’t Hamilton the father of modern conservatism?

Well, he did successfully make the case that our young heavily indebted country should pay its debt instead of defaulting.

Jackson was one of our great Presidents. The only person worth adding or replacing Jackson would be James K. Polk. You can thank these guys that we have Florida, the SW U.S. and the Pacific NW. Of course, we are trying to give the SW back to Mexico.

If John Adams were alive, he would probably suggest Hamilton and all of his (alleged) mistresses as the new image. That ought to make everybody happy.

Maybe the redesigned bill has an image of Hamilton with a bullet hole in him.

Hero of New Orleans not withstanding, I agree and my Cherokee ancestors would if they were here. On the other side, Hamilton practically invented the U.S. Dollar.

Both Presidents. Jackson and Franklin were not. So is the criteria "Founding Fathers Only"? If so, there are better candidates than Hamilton. Honestly, if he had died of a fever rather than a duel and he wasn't on the $10 bill I'm not sure most Americans would have even heard of him. I mean, how many know who Edmund Randolph was? Or Henry Knox? With resumes every bit as illustrious as Hamilton's, why aren't they on any bills?

Not suggesting Randolph or Knox should be on any bill. Just asking what makes Hamilton so special as compared to, say, John Adams who isn't on a bill at all?

Get rid of Jackson, replace him with Reagan.

Oh, and put Reagan on the dime, too. Replace a genocidal tyrant and a socialist with a true American hero, and watch Leftist heads explode.

If someone has to go, it should be Lincoln, who suspended Constitutional Rights.

I’m guessing the Federal Reserve wanted to pay homage to the first champion of a single currency and a national bank.

ALL should go. Even the greatest of men will have their detractors.

There were never a more beautiful currency than when Liberty/Peace were their hallmarks. True, that was when we had actual $$$ too

I'm agreeing. I still say "so what?" That entitles him to a permanent spot on US currency? Ask the average American how important Hamilton's position on the defunct First Bank of the US is to them. You'll probably get "Who? And what bank again?"
