True, but conflating a user error into a general statement of a failing of the entire operation of the system is also error. A little search would have found them the answers they needed. . . or if they had simply followed instructions when setting up their various Apple devices and input their AppleID in each device, they'd find when they logged on that each one had the same content available as every other one. Purchase a movie on one, it would be available on all, so long as the AppleID is identical. Or, invite family members with different AppleIDs to share with a single controlling AppleID. Simple.
