An establishment designs rules to keep power.

I guess you missed my point. If a new party is started, officers will have to elected and rules adopted. (We supposedly live in a rule based society.) Once you've done that YOU become the establishment.

But you're missing the bigger point. Riding Trump into the White House on this establishment busting campaign won't change a thing. If you really want change you have to adopt the words as written in the Declaration of Independence: the government must be abolished and a new one formed.

Of course the new government then becomes the establishment. Just no getting around it unless you advocate anarchy.

And Trump will also get some of that same support if he wins the nomination. Means nothing.

I think, at the end of the day, Rubio and Kasich will ask their delegates to support Cruz.

Whether the delegates will or not, remains to be seen.

I am a Cruz supporter, and I think this race would have been different if Rubio and Kasich would have dropped out sooner, but they didn’t.

So it goes.

For the record, if Trump continues his momentum and wins the nomination, I will vote for Trump over Hillary or Bernie, twice on Sunday,LOL!

We do understand the process.

The problem is that the GOPe, rather than celebrating an influx of voters and enthusiasm, has actively worked to subvert their own process, and has even overtly stated that they’d rather a serial criminal from the other party win.

This, combined with a long history of shoving weak candidates at us under the guise of electability, shows us that the GOP isn’t interested in supporting its own platform, but is pursuing an agenda antithetical to the American people.

There’s anger, not from lack of understanding, but from fuller understanding.

Has nothing to do with taking over the GOP starting at lowest level. But such activity does cut into complaining on social media, NCAA bracket time and binge-watching fave TV shows.

Ted was also ranting yesterday about Trump asking the people at the rally to say they’d vote for him.....
DUH...that’s the idea of all this, isn’t it????

Ted is a petty little whiner.

The delegates hold elected positions within their respective States. Therefore they will vote adoringly with the electorate or lose their own positions. That’s just the way it is and they know it.

“A delegate coup to overide Trump’s popular support kind of reminds me of Tanya Harding. If someone’s a better skater, break her legs.”

The Establishment is so removed from reality that they may think they can hijack the convention. They had better think twice.

Notwithstanding my site handle, I’m an independent American nationalist. And the only reason I care one whit is that our political system is structured to allow these godawful factions of the uniparty the ability to decide which candidate I will have the ability to vote for.

Happily, this will almost certainly be the last election I participate in.

Great question deserving a better answer than I can muster this moment. WPL

The Establishment referred to in this forum is our current oligarchy. I’m not really interested in other definitions, especially considering your post.

Very gloomy. No need to be.

The Liberty Amendments are coming.

But we need an anti-establishment mandate this year to pave the way. We must break their backs before congress would ever start to take them seriously.
