OK Acoustic Guitar fans, here is the concert we all wanted to attend. Sandra Bae, Gabriella Quevedo and Kanaho all on stage in Korea. The link will take you to the entire concert in 5 separate videos. These are three of the most talented young guitar players in the world. One of our Freepers was lucky enough to have seen this concert in Japan last week. Now we can all enjoy it vicariously. Enjoy.
If you want to be on my Fingerstyle Acoustic Guitar Ping List, Freep mail me.
Ping to the All Female Guitar Concert in Korea!!!!
Enjoy.
Which Freeper saw this in Japan last week? There are several of us here in Tokyo (and other areas), but I didn’t know any music fan Freezers were close by. I go to concerts several times a month (blues, rock, metal, punk usually). Thanks for sharing the video.
That freeper was "Actually in Tokyo". I showed him the link and he bought tickets.
I've been following Sandra Bae since she started posting videos on You Tube at age 14. Amazing Talent!
I can't wait for these gals to extend their Asia tour to America. However this kind of music is much more popular in Asia and Europe than it is here in the States. But I think they would still have a very successful tour here.
Sandra Bae is completely outrageous. I haven’t listened to enough of her to really comment on her musicality but technique wise she is incredible.
thanks !!!
If you want to see Sandra Bae’s “musicality” just watch this arrangement and performance of Moon River.

That pretty much sums up where she is there.
Thank you for posting this.
Listening now.
I saw that; as an improviser I can respect and be awed by a technically astute performance but I am more interested in things she has perhaps not rehearsed 1000 times.
Sounds wonderful.
These 3 girls never practiced together. The first time they met was right before the 3/2/16 concert.
Tommy Emmanuel is perhaps the greatest acoustic guitar player since Chet Atkins and he has indicated that you never really know a song until you’ve played it 1000 times.
I won’t perform a song in front of anyone but my wife unless I have played it for about 40 hours. Usually by the time I feel comfortable playing it, my wife can’t stand it anymore.
Enchanting. Classy kids.
Usually, by the time I've practiced a song enough times to feel comfortable playing it, I can't stand it anymore, lol!
Thanks for posting. I enjoyed the show!
Cool stuff. Thanks again. Any other FReepers in Tokyo, feel free to ping me for anything relating to music and partying.
Hi All! I was in the US the past two weeks (offline most of the time) so am just catching up on messages. I look forward to watching the Korea concert. Thanks again for the introduction to the Tokyo concert.
