I guess file this under the David Duke endorsement story from a week or so ago.

Now, I have known Klansmen (not on purpose, I promise, I just happened to live in SE Arkansas 40 years ago or so). I actually had a grandfather that may have been one (per some clues my old granny gave me).

But to try and tell me 20% of any large group of people is in the Klan is beyond unbelievable. I doubt there are a number as high as "20% of Trump's supporters" in the whole south, mighty hard to swallow. They are irrelevant, an almost immeasurably small number of Americans, in my estimation.

Man, I ain't a Trump fan and everyone knows it, this is just stoopid. But my coworker (a very well educated tech professional in the DC area) is sold on the idea. I don't think he would know the KKK from Casper the Friendly Ghost.

I asked for some way to confirm this and got ... CRICKETS. Of course. And this is someone who's vote will cancel yours this November when he casts it for Sanders (in his dreams).

Remember who the enemy is You People. It ain't your fellow FReepers.

Boy, this post should have the Trumpsters in here with their pitchforks and torches in ... what ... ten seconds? It's cool, I got my titanium undies on.

Just say, “Hard to believe that 20% of Trump voters are Democrats.”

Then explain how the KKK was the terrorist arm of the Democrat Party for 100 years.

Next time, just make really wide eyes and say “No, I happen to know that it’s more like EIGHTY percent! I heard it on NPR just this morning!”. Lead ‘em right down those their own rabbit holes; hand the idiots more rope.

I wonder how may Kluxers this guy thinks there are in America? There are probably only a few hundred, he probably thinks it’s millions.

He came at me yesterday with this "20% of Trump supporters are in the KKK"

Your response should've been, "Well, bless your hearrrrrrt." With a big ol' smile.

Remind him that the Klan is organization founded by democrats. Besides target people of color (native Indians too). They also targeted republicans.

Then start naming politicians that were members and their party affiliation.
Better yet sent him Wikipedia links to the knowledge

Ask him if he knows that the President pro tempore of the Senate four different times in recent history was former Grand Kleagle Robert Byrd (D).

He obviously either pulled that 20% figure out of his posterior or heard it on MSNBC.

Really freak him out. Tell him it’s a strong rumor that the DNC is cutting Sanders totally out, and that it’s a fix for Hillary. No matter the polling.

When liberal MSM reporters find out that a racist supports a Republican candidate they like to ask them a seemingly innocent question like "Do you repudiate so-and-so's support?"

The Republican is supposed to immediately cry out "Yes! I do repudiate that racist SOB. I do not want that racist SOB's support."

What the reporter is really implying is that Republican ideals are attractive to racists, i.e. Republicans are racists.

Why don't these same reporters identify dyed-in-the-wool commie professors that who still think Stalin, Castro, and Che Guevara were great leaders and who support Democrats? Are they afraid they might imply that Democrat ideals are attractive to authoritarians and mass murderers, i.e. Democrats are authoritarians?

What republicans should do when reporters ask them questions like this is to immediately ask the reporter when was the last time they asked a similar question of a Democrat, and call them on their character assassination attempt.

Just expect more ignorant people to mention this crap and more.
We have so many problems right now and some want to talk about a university , or a Duke endorsement which never happened.

It really is the time to wake up and see how much Trump is hated off the elitist and ignorant.

You can tell a man by his enemies, and right now he has all the right enemies, the establishment, media and the left.

It came directly from Cruz too. He said that Trump was behind white racist robo-calls. He said this on FoxNews Sunday and no one has questioned him about it. He gets away with this crap all the time.

Beck, Cruz, establishment , media, liberals, all strange bedfellows , but the fact is they are all together and sadly I thought Cruz would have a bright future if he had stayed away form the establishment, now to see him sell his soul tot he establishment is sad, very sad.
