Senator Ted Cruz is under fire from Senator Marco Rubio’s campaign, which accuses him and his campaign of employing more “dirty tricks” ahead of the Republican caucuses in Hawaii on Tuesday and spreading false rumors that Mr. Rubio is dropping out of the race.
“The press doesn’t hide anything but hillary’s criminal conduct.”

agree, but was it not Cruz and Rubio both demanding ta Trumps transcripts which were off the record be made public.
Seems the two of them want it both ways.
If your opponent has gained the reputation of playing tricks like this (earned or not), point the finger at him even when it is your own campaign at fault.
Look I’m sorry for you cruz/rubio people. I really am. This is going to be a very bad week for you and we all know that. I would just “relax and submit lest the flesh be unduly torn”.
He will get all his money back. He didn’t actually spend a cent of his own money on this campaign, he loaned the campaign the money. As I’m sure most of us know, he can use campaign contributions to pay off campaign debt, so he will be able to reimburse himself for every penny he spent in the primary with general election donations.
From Puppeteers ? No sir.
The point is, that whoever sent this is taking the CNN report to the next level.

Rubio and Cruz wanted Trump to release them but why not release the name of this person who claimed to be with Rubio and who said this?

No, when a story is sourced (even anonymously), it can’t be called “total conjecture”.
For someone who is feigning anger at Cruz “lying”, you sure like to make up stuff yourself.
Submit to what exactly?
If you’re expecting CNN to reveal an anonymous source, you would be better off hoping for world peace. It ain’t going to happen. Reporters go to jail before they reveal their sources.
Oh, I see. So when Cruz takes money from big donors, they are “puppeteers”, but when Trump takes money from big donors they are “not puppeteers”.
Yeah, that seems real logical.

Ted himself admitted it has been tracked to a local volunteer in HI they have asked to cease and desist. So it came from his team, just not from the official team apparently.
Another interesting thought from Ted. He stated that when a campaign is flailing and failing what they do is attack. Question: How then should we interpret his speeches over the coming days when he attacks Trump?
Then Rubio should find out if it was his staffers
then he should “man up” and report the story himself. This is a presidential campaign not a grand jury.
