Yeah. In Mandarin Chinese, Mao means the animal that makes the “Mao,”(Meow) sound. She’s a tuxedo kitty, but she’s a constant talker. My late, and dearly missed kitty, was Xiao Hu, which means”Little Tiger.” I have a Shanghai born lady friend. I like the names she picked!
