In a new CBS News Battleground Tracker poll, Republican front-runner Donald Trump holds the lead heading into the final days before the Michigan primary, looking to extend his overall delegate lead after a string of Super Tuesday wins.

15 points is nothing. LA was off by 15 points.
And who won LA?
Does no one else see the corruption and evil in even asking this question? Should the GOP just butt in and take the nomination? Maybe they should ask "Should the political parties even continue to hole elections or just appoint?"
“And who won LA?”
18 for Trump and 18 for Cruz. 5 Rube.
5 unassigned.
Huge lead also with the WSJ poll for Michigan released the same day. We all know how much those clowns at the WSJ loathe Trump.
Tied 18 to 18 delegates. Cruz surging.
I saw a poll where kaisch was up in MI over Trump and Cruz.
Polls have been way off.
Michigan loves Trump!
A lot of why would anyone vote for a Democrat? talk on the radio, coming from blue collar.
Jobs Jobs Jobs is all they’ve been promised, the one thing they want and the biggest thing Democrats have never delivered. Auto industry hardest hit.
Trump made this one of his major early arguements against politicians.
Can you tell me when this poll was taken?
Cruz and Kasich will most likely be reversed here.
Michigan does love Trump. We were in Manton today and everyone we met was for Trump. Most had been to see him last Friday.
I hope this holds.
The Republican party just doesn’t understand. You don’t say FU to Donald Trump, Donald Trump says FU to you.
No Texas border counties near Michigan like in Louisiana that went Cruz. Then again, Michigan does connect the Canuckastan north Cruzer territory ... at least with the Yooppers in YoooperLand. ;)
Thank you.
Both of those polls were done all or mostly before the last debate. The CBS poll has one day after the debate, and it was 4 points lower than the NBC poll. Different methodologies, or the start of a trend? We won’t know until Tuesday.
But it is worth noting that Trump has underperformed the polls consistently.
Not only are wildly off, they are consistently overstating Trumps performance.
Open primary state in Michigan, and Mississippi will go like its neighbors Alabama and Georgia. Btw in Georgia, Trump exceeded his RCP average for the state.
So Trump is polling at his normal 35-40% again? Betting he gets his normal 35% on election day.
The GOP could end this election tomorrow if they pulled Rubio and threw their support to Cruz. But while they fear Trump, they hate Cruz.
Is this open primary???
LA did not go Cruz!!!!
Still 5 uncommitted delegates for LA. Cruz won’t get them.
