Mark Hamill has told The Sun that his Star Wars character, Luke Skywalker, could be gay.
Hamill, who played the farmboy-turned-Jedi Knight in the three original Star Wars films and returned to the role in last year's The Force Awakens, said: 'Fans are writing and asking all these questions: "I’m bullied in school… I’m afraid to come out." They say to me: "Could Luke be gay?"'
'I’d say it is meant to be interpreted by the viewer. If you think Luke is gay, of course he is. You should not be ashamed of it. Judge Luke by his character, not by who he loves.'
The Sun points out that Luke was only romantically linked with one woman in the films — and awkwardly, she turned out to be his sister.

Back in the early 80’s when I was reading “The Lord of the Rings” I remember thinking Frodo and Sam were a little sweet on each other.

Weird. He wasn’t “gay” until he went to work for Disney.
And that’s when I stop watching. I was just getting into Shades of Blue, when they had the oral sex crap in the alley. Click. Switched to “Menu Options” and took it out of “RECORD SERIES.”
I also stopped buying Campbell’s soups and other products. I certainly would not buy their Clam Chowder. :)
