Just what is the Trump movement all about? I’ve tried to get to the bottom of it by conversing with various Donald Trump supporters on Twitter.
I have found that most outside the movement are having great difficulty understanding it. It’s like nothing we’ve seen – at least on the Republican side of the political spectrum.
One perplexed person asked me, “Does it shock you that with all the detrimental information on Trump he is still leading in practically every poll?” My answer: “It doesn’t shock me so much as disappoint me.”
Let me explore the Trump phenomenon in the form of a dialogue between a hypothetical Trump supporter (TS) and myself. One or two of the responses are from actual Trump supporters, but most are my own words, and I hope they’re not offensive to those supporters.

If you don’t like Trump, look at the GOP establishment who created him. Stop blaming the voters.
...believes it is acceptable for the government to sue newspapers - and this website - if they criticize the government. He says it's about hit pieces and purposely negative and false articles....much like the purposely negative, falsehoods he spews every day on the campaign trail. The tinpot dictator can do as he pleases...you do what he says.
..believes it is acceptable for the government to confiscate your property to give it to a developer. Chances are the developer will be someone did or will contribute to him....much like the way he's bragged about donating to politicians in exchange for favorable consideration.
..believes it is acceptable for the government to force you to pay for government healthcare that you do not want.
...supports an organization that butchers babies and sells the parts. He believes it is acceptable you be forced to pay for it.
...believes it is acceptable to murder the families of terrorists. I can only assume he means the children as well.
...believes it is acceptable to use illegal aliens on his construction projects and then weasel out of paying them. Violating many different immigration and labor laws in the process.
...is a fraud. Trump University was a bait and switch scam.
...is breathtakingly ignorant. He hadn't a clue about the "nuclear triad". He thinks judges sign bills.
...constantly says he'll hire great people to do great things (in response when it's pointed out he hasn't a specific idea, plan or detail to do anything he says), yet he's a poor judge of character. One day he calls Cruz a liar and a maniac, the next day he says he likes him and might choose him as VP. So he thinks a liar and maniac would make a good VP? He also thinks Hillary was a good sec of state and that she would make a great president. That's a sure sign of poor judgement or brain damage.
...he's a petulant brat constantly hurling gratuitous insults in lieu of meaningful, discussion of the issues. He's calling people liars?! That's rich.
...agrees with Michael Moore and Code Pink that George Bush is a war criminal.
...agreed with Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid that George Bush should have been impeached.
...admits on many issues he " ...identifies more as a Democrat."
...is delusional. He believes he's being audited by the IRS because he's a strong Christian? That's Obama-level delusion.
And just pretend the vote for the Obamatrade didn't happen...

Or the Corker bill. He has voted twice to increase Obama’s authority by sidestepping the constitutional treaty process. One would think he would learn his lesson after the first time.
Both parties have abandoned the American worker, Mass immigration and bad trade deals have destroyed the middle class.
I have never been this disgusted with the gop since 2008, when they sat back and let Palin be smeared, and actually allowed their own people to smear her. Now, this whole STOP TRUMP smear stuff it has gotten too much. Right now, I don’t care about the gop anymore. If they were able to prove that Trump was really a serial killer, I’d still vote him just to watch that disreputable lowlife organization be destroyed. I will NEVER contribute a single penny to them and it is doubtful that I will ever vote for any gop candidate again in any race. I will either not vote, vote 3rd party or do a write in vote.
They don’t care about the country or the people in it, all they care about is saving their place at the trough, and clinking their glasses at the right cocktail parties. They are filthy scum.
It’s a protest vote, that simple.
People are sick and tired of Political Correctness, the Media, Hollywood, the Democrats and the Republicans.

As for democrats? Oh what a mess! Hillary has all the government parasites who collect a paycheck off the people's taxes voting for her. This includes all recipients of social welfare programs, government funded NGO's, and the finance industry.
This election is turning out to be "The Stand", and Hillary is Randal Flagg, with all the RINO elites willing to side with Flagg. A true display of how much curtain has been masking the body politic for decades. The curtain is down, and the hacks behind it have been caught for what they are, crooks, liars, cheats, traitors, or just idiots with their pee-pee or muffin in their hands.

lol...DL just parrots all the negative “concerns” about Donald Trump. NEver mind that Trump has NO legislative record that indicates he’ll do any of those things. Never mind that in order to justify these “concerns” Limbaugh and others need to cull out a small number of public statements out of a LIFETIME of millions of public statements. Never mind that they aren’t culling out the many more statements that can paint a conservative Donald Trump. And that’s why we know that they don’t really care about the truth of Donald Trump. They’re just having a hissy fit because their preferred candidate (in this case Cruz) isn’t winning.
