Whatever T[he]Rump says conservatism is, is what it is. Anyone else -- even people who've been fighting liberalism and have had no use for the Republican Establishment for years will be thrown out the window if they do not goose step with the Maximum Leader's definition of what constitutes conservatism, who is the establishment, or even what constitutes right and wrong.
Whatever TheDonald® believes today is what they believe. Doesn't matter what he believed six months ago. Won't matter what he believes tomorrow, even if it's 180° away from what he's said this afternoon. He is The Voice of Truth and whatever He believes, they believe.
Stand with Israel? Nope. We have to be honest brokers. EVERYTHING is negotiable. Does it matter that the PLO, Hamas, and Hezbollah have never bargained in good faith? Nope. To the Great Negotiator the fact that their promises are empty lies means nothing.
Think Planned Parenthood is an abomination that sells baby parts? Did you read the news stories that Planned Parenthood really doesn't provide more than an insignificant fraction of their tax dollars for anything other than abortion and contraception? Did you hear Planned Parenthood's own President admit that they don't? Doesn't matter. Planned Parenthood now "does good things. Does a lot of good things."
Think single-payer health care is an even worse idea than 0bamacare? Hah! You are a GOP-e sell-out. Some kind of single-payer that magically isn't single payer will be "paid for by the government" and "provide care to everyone." The Paiute Messiah said so.
The list is virtually endless, and there is no history they won't make up, no nonsense they won't excuse, no conservative they won't trash if there is even the slightest perception that he is not sufficiently obsequious to the positions and the demands of el Supremo.

Lots of people being exposed as nonbelievers these days. Smacks of a religious movement more than a political one, where naysayers are kicked out of the camp. Cult of personality. Unbelievable how fast it came and co-opted the conservative movement.
Of course, this come from someone who still believes in social conservatism and biblical values. Take it with a grain of salt.
