All it takes is one tweet for things to go horribly wrong. Beauty website Total Beauty learned that lesson during the red carpet arrivals at the 88th annual Academy Awards.
After Whoopi Goldberg walked the red carpet, showing off a prominent tattoo on her shoulder, the website tweeted, “We had no idea @Oprah was #tatted, and we love it.” Perhaps whoever is in charge of social media for Total Beauty should go ahead and acquaint themselves with the people they’re tweeting about.

OK Whoopie is a liberal. But I have found her likable. I don’t know. She has that “cool” charm about her. She’s cute.
Oprah? Well, she used to be somewhat interesting to watch. My old white guy neighbor used to crack me up years ago because he was always talking about Oprah. She used to attempt fairness. I appreciated her very fair interview with W. Of course she has always had a racist edge, but blacks can do that and feel justified. Still, I didn’t care too much. Now I just see her as a New Age freak show. Add to that an enabler of the evil Obama and, well, yuck!!!!
I know Whoopie has the same political opinions. She is less weird. Less racist. And I guess just more fun.
