Vanity: Help Me Understand Why You Don't Believe That We Are Owned by the "Establishment?"
Me ^ | 02/27/2016 | Self

Posted on 02/27/2016 12:18:49 PM PST by Yaelle

All these threads each week go up: why are you actually voting for Trump? Can't anyone explain to me why you, so many of you, hear our heartfelt careful explanations, and never even respond or register that it might be so that our elections are an establishment game?

Isn't it obvious by now that our government is more responsive to a sort of cabal of powerful global entities than to our aged parchment under glass in DC? Our Constitution IS our country. Our representatives all the way up to President (especially President) pretty much ignore it.

For a long time, we, the People have been presented, red, white and blue streamers included, with elections every four years to help us feel a part of the system. But our choices have been covered by this cabal, with bought or controllable candidates on each side of the Uniparty. Sure, we can choose, but only among these. Any true candidate not owned by the uniparty already (or a "sure sale" after the election) is painstakingly removed from the menu by their subservient media.

The media work for whoever controls everything, and it sure isn't a government by, for, and of the people. Do you really think it still is? Part of the reason they don't teach civics in schools any more, not just because they don't want Americans to know about their Gd-given rights, is because students would LAUGH at the lies in our founding documents at this point. How could they not? Clearly we are serfs to a ruling entity at this point, and you cannot argue otherwise.

We haven't had a Presidential candidate feared BY THE RULERS since Ronald Reagan. Right now, the greedy powers that be own Hillary and Rubio, and though it's a long shot for him to win the nom, they believe they can get to and own Cruz as well. They can't get to Trump. His family is independently wealthy and protected. He is not playing along with their lying rule over us, and they are scared and vicious in their attempts to stop him. They also have little sway over Sanders but they figure they will knock him out.

The game they play on little old We, the conservative People is: Stick with your principles. Vote your principles. Find the perfect conservative and vote for him.

It's a useless game. They have the end covered. It is to make us feel good. It doesn't affect their election. Not voting for the guy who might be able to beat back their takeover, who might lead a new generation of people ready to fight rather than just suck at their phony teats, only helps them.

Do you really think that when you die you will be rewarded for voting for a candidate for President who had no chance of winning but clung to a religion, didn't cheat on his spouse, and seemed to match more conservative criteria, over voting for someone to free the country from serfdom to an elite cabal?

And since the media have mutual talking points (proven by Rush Limbaugh for decades) and always take the same aim, the MEDIA is just a took for the controlling entity in this country. (Assuming it’s in this country?)

I want strong Americans to rise up and fight back for our freedoms like we did once. We should be so angry at the establishment. Trump is a good leader to get started. Defined, real borders? We are INSANE to allow the phony argument of racism keep us from being able to have protected borders like all other countries have! We are being played!!

What happens in Trump hotels might not always stay in Trump hotels.

Political Scientists at the academic level concluded a couple of years ago that the US is now an oligarchy in everything except name.
https://scholar.princeton.edu/sites/default/files/mgilens/files/gilens_and_page_2014_-testing_theories_of_american_politics.doc.pdf

With six fortune 500 companies owning 90% of the media content distribution companies in this country, its easy for the power elites to control the message.

Ask yourself a couple of questions...

Have you ever heard a politician argue FOR increased deficit spending and increasing the national debt? I haven’t. They all argue against it and say that its bad and it shouldn’t happen. But what does happen?

Have you ever heard a politician in any speech tell us we should be happy with the tax codes, forms, and return process we have? Ever hears them run for election on a platform of more tax laws, more complex forms, a thicker rulebook, and even more complex system than we have this year? No — they all talk about making it more fair and simpler or they don’t talk about it all. But what do we end up doing every spring in this country for a couple of more hours than we did the previous spring?

The evidence you need is readily available if you just start paying attention without the artificial construct or partisan identification or political leaning.

Ok, look, Johnny, it could be that Trump is fooling everyone and just wants the Presidency for some selfish reason. Hey, anything is possible.

But you agree we are becoming serfs in some kind of ruler-dom. How do we get that back? Everyone who goes to Washington is already part of the cabal or soon joins on, for carrot or fear of stick.

There isn’t another candidate today who has a chance! You know Rubio and Hillary are owned. Cruz won’t win. What is your suggestion?

I say, I know people who think like Trump (even my own beloved dad kind of did) and I am taking the risk with him because at his age and completed achievements in life, I do believe he is doing this for the right reasons, so he’s our best shot.

I love you.

Thanks for the link too. THIS should be spoken about in the public square. We are all fooled by these superficial constructs. I FELT we lived in an oligarchy but that research PROVES we do.

And what do we think any other candidate can do about it?

The Establishments game is being systematically unmasked by Trump and since they cannot stop it, it will not be surprising if they crank up the heat and go in for the final kill of us very soon. They don’t have much choice. They’ve come this far.

How Oligarchies Form
http://www.wisegeek.org/what-is-an-oligarchy.htm
Oligarchies are often controlled by a few powerful families whose children are raised and mentored to become inheritors of power, often at some sort of expense to those governed. In contrast with aristocracy — or government by the “best” — this power might not always be exercised openly, with some oligarchs preferring to remain “the power behind the throne,” exerting their control through economic means. Unlike plutocracy, oligarchy is not always a rule by wealth, either, because oligarchs can simply be a privileged cadre. It also has been suggested that most communist states fit the definition of oligarchies.

You use the word “final kill.” I used to think Breitbart was doing some pretty eye opening things, looked forward to following him for years. You know?

He was threatening to sue because Cruz said that this is what the Don believes NOW.

That is a lie.

You're the one who is lying.

Here is a link to the ad:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kbca-7bc374

If you bother to look at the upper-left hand corner of the screen, you will see the date of the video.

The point, which is too subtle for the Trump Chumps, is that anyone who can flip-flop on so many issues could flip-flop again. There is no reason to believe Trump's campaign-eve conversion on most of his positions.

“I would not be surprised if the candidates confided in Donald about their love life, spilled damaging opposition research WRT their opponents and damning stuff about well-known pols-—in order to get bigger donations.

They/re wishing wish now they hadn’t said the things they did....b/c Donald knows plenty.”

WOW! I never considered that angle. Brilliant analysis as always Liz. Thx!

It may not always be “families” running the oligarchy but chosen small groups. Power in the hands of a select few, and kept that way.

Hey, if you and your pals owned the USA and a lot of the world, you wouldn’t want to give that up easily.

Johnny, you come on this thread and call us Trump Chumps? We are talking about who is setting a slow burning flame to our Constitution and how the People could attempt to stop it, and why Trump is all we’ve got right now, and you call us Chumps, playing cute mocking games? You really are stuck in the matrix.
