Somewhere near New Cairo City...without any evidence of a decent road leading to it. I agree with the kitties. Aliens has to be it.

Assuming the maps are orientated north - there is a major highway south of the complex and an access road that leads southeast - which I would bet takes off from the main highway.
Looks like a heli-pad for heavy lift helicopters - based on the ramped access to the top for fork lifts or trucks. Appears to be a storage area under the ramps and heli-pad. Definitely not an airplane hanger.
Design is Arabic - not sure of the symbolism - any thoughts sunken civ?

If you use the GE time machine, looks like it was being built in 2/4/2010.

It’s just “unnamed road” or something like that, meaning military. At least they’ve moved all their danged bases away from the places of archaeological interest, the antiquities people couldn’t do anything (no pictures, no conservation work) near Saqqara for a long while.

Given the bunkers around it, I’d say AA Missile site, or VIP Bunker system.

Pyraminds. New pyraminds.
The 'arms' are temporary ramps that enable the slaves to drag building blocks up to the top of the structures.

Looks a little like an old SA-2 site with a Fan Song mount in the middle and a mount for a search radar (Knife Rest or something?) to the northwest.
To: tcrlaf
Given the bunkers around it, Id say AA Missile site, or VIP Bunker system.Or it could just be there to defend the golf course to the north. :-)
