I wasn't paying too much mind to this Brokered Convention idea that Rubio was pushing days before the debate with graphs and power point even though Rubio was sounding quite sure it was going to happen and that he was going to win it...THEN I HEARD THE CRUZ INTERVIEW LAST NIGHT! Cruz said, right up front that Rubio would be a better candidate and POTUS then Trump! Now we all know that Cruz is very smart, very calculated. He knows he doesn't have a very good shot at the nomination. I wonder if he and Rubio cut a deal to insure the convention play happens. They were very in sink last night and full of compliments for each other. I wonder if a pre-convention deal is why Rubio is so sure of a brokered convention and that he would win it. The fact is that Ted Cruz, unofficially endorsed Rubio over Trump last night on National TV.... Amnesty Rubio...TPP Rubio...GOPeBot Rubio...WOW!...I didn't expect Cruz to support Trump but I never expected him to fall in line with Rubio/GOPe.

Good analysis on the brokered convention idea. I wonder if MConnell called Cruz and promised him if he would support Rubio that he would help him at the brokered conventional? Since Cruz fell for so many of McConnell’s other lies it is possible. More likely his donors called and said we will help you in your reelection bid but you have to help elevate Rubio. Otherwise, your money will dry up. The Free Labor and Free Trade Express donors have spoken and Cruz must obey.

Now we all know that Cruz is very smart, very calculated. He knows he doesn't have a very good shot at the nomination. I wonder if he and Rubio cut a deal to insure the convention play happens. Right now it looks like there are two possibilities once the votes next Tuesday are counted. Trump will win the nomination outright, or there's a brokered convention. Looking at where the polls currently stand, Trump will most likely have a large enough lead that no one else could win outright.
If Trump has a large lead in delegates going into a brokered convention and there are backroom deals made to make someone other than him the nominee, the Republicans will not only lose the presidential race in November, they'll lose the House and Senate too. People who would have voted Republican will be so disgusted with their party ignoring the will of the majority of their voters that they'll just give up on the party, possibly forever.

WOW!...I didn't expect Cruz to support Trump but I never expected him to fall in line with Rubio/GOPe. Just watch a large number of his posters on FR take the same pledge of Rubio over Trump.
