Trump coined a new name for Rubio this morning. Mr. Meltdown. Also referring to them as Ted Rubio and Marco Cruz because he said they’re both Washington insiders and easy to mix up. Trump is great. Also said last night that Rubio sweats so much he looks like he just got out of a swimming pool. I think that was a little reference to Foam Party Marco.

I’m a Trump supporter all the way. However, I’ll have to disagree with this posting. I’ve been told that my vote was wasted in a lot of elections for different reasons. It never fails to bring back what I was taught by a patriotic father who valued the privilege of a free election. I’ve been grateful for his insight when my Democrat spouse told me that my Republican vote was “canceled out” by his. I’ve been told that I “lost” my vote because I voted for someone who wound up not winning.

The only way any American can “lose” their vote is by not casting it. That vote belongs to the individual and represents the freedom to have one’s say in our governance, even if it’s ridiculed by every other single voter in this nation, it’s a statement from a person with a voice, however small. That’s what makes America unique. That’s what we are in so much danger of losing if people don’t wake up and take an interest in what’s going wrong with our system.

The Presidential race is not a horse race. It seems as if that wrong headed notion has overtaken many voters. Voting for the “winner” is not the objective. That’s for horse racing and Las Vegas gaming. The objective in the Presidential race is to put someone in the Whitehouse that most effectively can put this nation back on its feet.

It’s hard for me to understand why you would use a tactic that’s been so widely criticized when it was used by the Cruz campaign. It’s still wrong in my opinion. I’ll repeat; the only way one can “waste” their vote is by not casting it.

Unfortunately, I think Trump has this locked up. In the general election it will be him vs. Hillary. For the first time since I have been old enough to vote, I will not vote in this presidential election. Neither candidate is worthy of the office.

So people should just stay home and not vote if they don’t support Trump because. . . . It would just be a wasted vote. How American!!!!

A vote cast for either Ted Cruz or, Marco Rubio is a wasted vote!!!

*******************

Naw...... It’s that person right to select the person he wants to represent his ideals.
True that choice may not win but it still is the voters right to make that decision.
After all it’s our process. We don’t make everyone line and pull the lever for the same person.

In the primary election, no vote is wasted. This is the only time we can let the party know who we support. Strictly voting for the perceived front-runner looks too much like a coronation than an election.

Third-party votes in the general election are wasted votes.

If Trump gets my vote, it will be in the general. He has not convinced me that he is the most electable conservative.

I have been waiting for Mr. Cruz to rid himself of beck. (friend to mitt)

Mr. Cruz hasn't and now seems he to be throwing in with Rubio. (who has been endorsed by mitt)

Well if he's teaming up with them. he's no friend of mine.

Reading the forums is like watching a fight over a guy at Del Boca Vista because he can drive at night, and gets all the chicks.

Reports out this morning that Ted Cruz & Marco Rubio are in cahoots to undo the Trump POTUS run!!! These two gents will stop at nothing....but they will never undo Donald J. Trump!!! This game is over...either on next Tuesday evening or, if not then, certainly on March 15th!!! Anyone that believes otherwise is only fooling thmselves. The Republican Establishment Party is dying on the vine and, Trump will do exactly the same to Hillary Clinton and the Democrat Establishment Party.

The new “Trump” victorious political party and machine will include millions of Republicans, Conservatives, Independents, Reagan Democrats, Industrial Labor Union Members, First Responders, Hispanic Americans, African-Americans, Other Minorities, NRA Members, Small business Owners, and more Americans of all political stripes that are fed up with the totally failed American political system!!

As a loyal lifelong Republican Conservative since Barry Goldwater, my party has deserted & failed me one too many times. I now only have digust for most of them including John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Mitt Romney. Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, etc.

The only one I have respect for is John Kasich....who has done a standout job as Governor & Executive Officer of Ohio, who by the way, would make an excellent VP candidate for Donald J. Trump, IMHO!!! A massive political sea change is afoot in th USA, but sadly Rubio & Cruz are not part of it. They lie & our media lies!!! But....the vast numbers of the American voters are no longer hoodwinked by these phoney “would be leaders”...that only serve their own purposes!!! GO DONALD TRUMP!!!

As a Trump supporter, I find this distasteful. People should always cast a principled vote for the candidate of their choice in the primary.

That said, I don’t see a lot of correlation between FR principles and Rubio or Kasich, but there are many Cruz or Carson fans who prefer those approaches.

This thread is yet another of yours that makes me think you must be a paid campaign operative—for Cruz. You certainly do Trump no favors.

A vote for Donald Trump is a vote for a fraud, a hypocrite, a con man, a scam artist, and a lowlife loser.

If Trump is a lock to win then how is our vote for him not a wasted vote too? Should we just stay at home in order to not waste our vote?

No it isn’t. Just because your guy doesn’t win doesn’t mean your vote was wasted. Just means there weren’t enough of you to help him win. The “wasted” vote argument is only used by the pathetic who think their candidate might not win, ie those who are wasting air.
