What is it about politicians and fibs that can easily be shown false?
On the campaign trail in 2008 Senator Barack Obama told black audiences stories about his parents' involvement in the civil rights protests of 1960s that were not even remotely true. Over the years, Hillary Clinton has made preposterous claims about everything from being named after the conqueror of Mt Everest to having been under sniper fire in Bosnia.
We all know Trump constantly proclaims he is the greatest at just about everything. Add eyesight to the list.

An object the size of a human body cannot be discerned by the human eye at that distance. Now maybe there is a telescope or pair of binoculars in Trump's penthouse. However, on that day Donald Trump was apparently not in the penthouse. At the time the Twin Towers were struck on the morning of September 11, 2001 Donald Trump was reported to be at a business meeting in downtown Chicago, Illinois, almost 800 miles from Manhattan.

Yeah, how many people who were over the age of five don’t remember exactly where they were and what they were doing when the towers were hit? Trump lies with impunity because his supporters don’t care whether he tells the truth or not, as some on this thread have stated.
I don’t trust my right to bear arms to a liberal Democrat and that means Trump or Bernie, or Hillary. Trump is as untruthful as Hillary and matches Bernie on policy. What nightmare.

Talk about being lost, Trump would have to come up with a few new slogans. I sincerely doubt he has ever read the Constitution.
How do you defend a calculated lie like this? Trump has to remember clearly what he was doing when 9/11 happened, yet he fabricated a story that he thought would sound good to voters, not a word of which is true. That kind of lying indicates the actions of a serial liar.
Now irrefutable evidence on video and audio has been produced to prove that he was also lying about his opposition to the Iraq war. He is as disgraceful as Hillary.
That was some telescope. It is documented that Trump was in Chicago in meetings on a new construction there. He and others were called to the t.v. when the attack occurred.
Flight plans for Trump 1 - and passenger manifests - would clear this up. Cruz should threaten to sue, see how DT likes it.
This has got to be the biggest nit-picking on the planet. You people must hang on every word Trump says, no matter how apolitical, trying to twist it and make it a lie.
If you lived in NY City, and had access to a high enough vantage point to directly observe was happening, what would you, or anyone have done on 9-11? After hearing about what was going on at the WTC, you would have gotten out binoculars or telescope if you had them (and it is also entirely believable Mr. Trump would have both, given his NYC spectacular city scapes) and watch what was happening.
This thread is beyond idiotic! There are sounds reasons to prefer/elect other candidates of course, that is what the primary elections are for.
