Trump's Fib Of Hilliaryesque Proportions
American Thinker ^ | 2/20/2016 | Rosslyn Smith

Posted on 02/20/2016 10:40:40 AM PST by conservativejoy

What is it about politicians and fibs that can easily be shown false?

On the campaign trail in 2008 Senator Barack Obama told black audiences stories about his parents' involvement in the civil rights protests of 1960s that were not even remotely true. Over the years, Hillary Clinton has made preposterous claims about everything from being named after the conqueror of Mt Everest to having been under sniper fire in Bosnia.

We all know Trump constantly proclaims he is the greatest at just about everything. Add eyesight to the list.

"Because I had a view - I have a window in my apartment that specifically was aimed at the World Trade Center, because of the beauty of the whole downtown Manhattan. And I watched as people jumped and I watched the second plane come in. ... I saw the second plane come in and I said, "Wow that's unbelievable".'

Trump's apartment, in the penthouse of iconic Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan, is 4.1 miles away from where the twin towers once stood.

An object the size of a human body cannot be discerned by the human eye at that distance. Now maybe there is a telescope or pair of binoculars in Trump's penthouse. However, on that day Donald Trump was apparently not in the penthouse. At the time the Twin Towers were struck on the morning of September 11, 2001 Donald Trump was reported to be at a business meeting in downtown Chicago, Illinois, almost 800 miles from Manhattan.

On the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, Adrian D. Smith, a well-known architect in the Chicago office of Skidmore Owings & Merrill, was in a meeting with Donald Trump. The hyperbolic New York City developer was in Chicago to go over the design of a proposed Trump residential tower ...

But what does it really matter, it’s not like he was running for president then he is running for president now, and only what he says now matters and maybe not even that if the now is more than 3 days ago or is it three hours it’s hard to tell. Dictated to Google Voice

Sorry, but you err. I became suspicious of Cruz during his disappearance and total absence, in the ‘12 senatorial races.

Only this winter I was apprised of his serving McConnell on the NSRC, during all those senatorial elections, in order to make up for all those “conservative” performances in the senate.

Then I saw his check for $200,00.00 to the Committee. That money was part of the bank that issued the MISSISSIPPI TREATMENT against Daniels there, who was a TP conservative leading that race until the Haley Barbour boys were funded to take him out and installed incumbent, Thad Cochran.

Now, I see Cruz just got that money back. McConnell’s surrogate, in the form of his lawyer, just gave Cruz $300,000.00 for his political campaign.

HOW DO YOU SPELL “CRONY CAPITALISM”.

Ask, Ted, and then rub your hands together at the ballot.

You started disliking Cruz when Trump told you not to like him. Because you sense your own intellectual inferiority; thus you decided it's best to be a follower.

I started disliking the FR cruzers when the CruzPostBots doubled down on the Trump hitpieces & vitriol the day after Jim Thompson asked for some peace between the factions.

Us Trump fans know how to play a little chin music, too. :)

"Thanks for posting a NEW reason to hate Trump"

Nobody hates Trump. He has been droning on and on about Cruz being a liar. He says he-(Trump) doesn't lie. But here he is lying.

It is not "hate" to point out Trumps lies, inconsistencies, leftist tendencies, past support for liberals over conservatives in elections, high negatives, previous friendship with the Clintons, and that Trump loses to both Hillary and Bernie in the polls.

If we get this election wrong- the country is finished. But nobody hates Trump-Just don't think he is Conservative at all- And he could easily lose in the general. Simple as that.

I get embroidering your resume but why tell a Big Fib that can be so easily refuted.

Maybe because his buddy, Hillary, was able to get away with it, Trump thought he could also.

Great story. There still in business today. They manufactured the elevators where I work. Don't know if there still armaments manufacturers anymore.
Very good book.

Perfect picture to illustrate the similarity.

Please ignore all the Trumpsters who are saying they don’t want to hear about it or that it’s a lie.

There’s a lie in there somewhere but it’s not by the poster.

Trump has tapped into the frustration of the American people and their rage that nothing is done about it.

The problem is, the Trumpsters have chosen the wrong god.

There is nothing in Trump’s history to suggest that he will be consistent. He changes daily.

He may say what you want to hear today but tomorrow he will renege.

I think this Trump worship is Magic Thinking.

Trump has convinced people that he is their Daddy... the best daddy in the whole world. He will make everything right and will also give you a pony.

Trumpsters refuse to even listen to anything negative about him.

Not smart in choosing a nominee.

Those are very valid reasons. For me the turning point was when cruz came out to the microphones celebrating his TPA victory and insinuating that we have to pass TPA so we can find out what is in TPP. If it was not clear enough before, that made it crystal clear he votes for campaign cash, not the American people.

It was scary.

I was never a Trump defender by choice. The nauseating, bullying detractors here have made it clear that Trump is easily the most important politician of the season.
I would like nothing better than to jamb him down the throat of all those snide elitists who try to convince me that he is deceitful, reckless and a scourge on the republic. Go Trump, because naysayers need to be shut up.

He just lies about anything and everything all the time.

So when he says good things you can’t believe he means it.
