I agree with you 100%. I am trying real hard to not debate these posters (doesn't always work, but I'm getting better). We know who they are. There are about a dozen or so of them. Their main purpose is to divide. Once things become clear, they'll go away, and FReerepublic will return to normal.

Agree. It seems easy to tell who those posters may be. Mid-2015 sign ups and don't do anything other than copy/paste the same comments about Candidate X on every thread. I just stay off the threads in general. I'll vote for either Cruz or Trump when it all comes down to it, so the rest is just noise to me.

I agree, there is a small cabal of nasty postérs spamming every political thread with slander talking points. They do not seem to bother reading more than the headers, never the article contents. After being proven to be posting false aligationd in a thread they move on and repost the same slime again.

All of them are names I do not recall posting before this election, and I have been posting here for 15 years.

They are useful as soap boxes, but their tactic of rudeness gets wearying, I don’t know how they live with themselves.
