Trump extends lead to 36%

– In the final day of a three-day tracking poll in South Carolina, momentum is favoring Donald Trump, who leads in the Republican contest with 36% of likely primary voters, up 3 points since Tuesday. Marco Rubio (19%) and Ted Cruz (18%) remain locked in a battle for second. Cruz has seen a 2-point drop since Tuesday while Rubio has stayed at 19%.

Look - I’ll be the first to admit that this whole election cycle has made me particularly nasty. I simply can’t BELIEVE FreeRepublic is lining up behind Trump, who I view as the death knell of conservatism. I actually sat back and was relatively quiet on the topic up until a couple months ago, when - having watched the asymmetric warfare being waged by the Trumpettes - I had had enough.

I think I’m getting ready to go politically Galt. Time to stop caring. Let the whole system burn, which will most certainly happen if we get Jeb, Trump, Hillary, or Bernie.

Cruz has the GOTV machine. 100,000 volunteers knocking on doors.

I think you have that wrong. The report was that the campaign workers had knocked on 100,000 doors.
