IF he should become the candidate for pres or VP, the Dems will nail him.
And IMHO, he is not eligible. I wish Scalia was here because he was a strict constitutionalist. But here's a clue....All Presidents have been born on US soil or under US jurisdiction, i.e., Panama in the case of McCain.
“....All Presidents have been born on US soil or under US jurisdiction, i.e., Panama in the case of McCain.”
John McCain was not born on U.S. soil and was not born under U.S. jurisdiction. John McCain was born in a hospital in Colon, Panama, which is just outside the boundary of the U.S. Panama Canal zone and inside the foreign nation of Panama. Note, also, the U.S. Supreme court determined the U.S. Panama Canal Zone was outside the incorporated territory of the United States required to qualify for birth in the United States, because the Panama Canal Zone and other U.S. territories are determined to be unincorporated and outlying territories of the Organic laws of United States. John McCain acquired U.S. citizenship under the authority of the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1952.
Note: I misspoke where it said “U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1952,” which was supposed to say: U.S. Immigration and Naturalizations Acts, not the 1952 Public Law. While doing my copy and paste from my prior posts I picked up the wrong phrase.
