The item was found near Fakenham

So the item may be a fake then?

My wife grew up near Norwich not far from Fakenham. I told her the next time we visit her clan still living in those parts we buy a pick and shovel and go hunting for GOLD...GOLD....GOLD!!!!! She told me where I can put the pick and shovel.

Saxon gold, you say? From the Norfolk AO, you say?

My family traces back from there. My gene stuff is so related to Saxons that my paternal grandmother’s maiden name was Saxon.

There’s old tales in the family about gold mounts that got lost or stolen way long time ago. I claim that stuff as mine. Who do I sue to get all that gol... I mean, my family heritage? Yeah. That’s the ticket. Family heritage!
