Donald Trump has "flatly stated" (as some have said) that he is Pro Life.
Donald Trump has also come out in support of Planned Parenthood (just not for aborition) stating they do wonderful things.

I need not remind my fellow Freepers that Planned Parenthood's bread and butter is taking tax-payer money, dismembering babies, and selling those babies as parts.
To be fair to Donald he did go on record as saying Planned Parenthood defunded. This was back when Ted Cruz was fighting in the senate to defund the institution and Mitch, Boehner and company caved in again.

My question is this: Is His Donaldness strongly Pro-life when he supports Planned Parenthood and abortion in some cases? Is it fair to say he has "flatly stated" he is Pro-Life ?
I know I'm not the only one curious what other FReepers think. Please don't take this as an attack on Trump. The facts are what they are. I'll support Trump in the general election over any Democrat if it comes to it. That said I want to get into and want people to think before they vote for a pig in a poke in the primaries.

IIRC, back in the mid to late 70s (maybe later), Planned Parenthood was birth control only & could only refer to abortion clinics.
The clinic that operated back then was south of the junior college I attended & advertised that they did sterilization procedures for both women & men. (They didn’t advertise that they did abortions, but it was a rumor that seemed probable).
I’m curious to know when (even if approximate) they began actually performing abortions & how/ why did that happen? Obviously, it had to have been under a democrat Congress, but I doubt it was Carter. because my SIL got her BC pills there in 1978 & 79.
Well let me say that I am not calling you dishonest. I am calling the proposition that Trump is for Baby killing and selling their little body parts. Trump has CLEARLY stated that he is not against women’s health care. Planned parenthood , to the extent that is helping women’s health and not killing little babies can easily be supported to help women. Right?

I don’t believe that any sincere pro-lifer can support PP in any way. Anything good that they might do is outweighed by the evil of abortion.
I suppose that some person at PP might under some circumstance do someone some good. But a mass murderer might do you some good too, if, say, he pushed you out of the way of an oncoming bus.

Exactly. I think we all on one side or the other employ “smear campaign” to discredit our opponents in these races. We take a half truth and extrapolate it to the absurd. I am the worst at that ( and I am very good) . I justify it in watching the smear on my guy. But I will tell you a secret , we need to pipe down. It is like the Navy guys hating the Marines. We must defeat the communist left or we lose our entire country to riot and chaos and it will not be pretty.

As a businessman he has to realize that a 500M revenue stream buoys the entire enterprise. HE also think they provide valuable services that women have to have ( and presumably can’t get elsewhere), of course I have never heard of where an abortion saves the life of the mother or even heard of any unique non abortion service PP provides.
This spinning to justify funding non abortion services is cowardly. OTOH he is 69 and even well into his 60’s he favored Partial Birth Abortion like his sister the Federal Judge.
Trump is a liar. Apparently, almost a majority of republicans don’t care. They’re just tired of politicians in D.C. lying to them, I guess.
