VANITY: Can Donald Trump state he is Pro-life and still support Planned Parenthood?
The space between my ears. | February 15,2016 | Idaho Cowboy

Donald Trump has "flatly stated" (as some have said) that he is Pro Life.

Donald Trump has also come out in support of Planned Parenthood (just not for aborition) stating they do wonderful things.

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/02/14/trump-planned-parenthood-does-do-wonderful-things-but-not-as-it-relates-to-abortion/

I need not remind my fellow Freepers that Planned Parenthood's bread and butter is taking tax-payer money, dismembering babies, and selling those babies as parts.

To be fair to Donald he did go on record as saying Planned Parenthood defunded. This was back when Ted Cruz was fighting in the senate to defund the institution and Mitch, Boehner and company caved in again.

Trump has also released his position on abortion in which he said he was against except in cases of rape, incest, or the mother's life being at stake. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3397429/posts?page=18#18

My question is this: Is His Donaldness strongly Pro-life when he supports Planned Parenthood and abortion in some cases? Is it fair to say he has "flatly stated" he is Pro-Life ?

I know I'm not the only one curious what other FReepers think. Please don't take this as an attack on Trump. The facts are what they are. I'll support Trump in the general election over any Democrat if it comes to it. That said I want to get into and want people to think before they vote for a pig in a poke in the primaries.

I don’t think Trump really understands abortion, nor do I think he really cares enough about it to take a good look as to how it has destroyed the fabric of our nation.

In my opinion, he is a fraud when it comes to the pro-life cause.

No, he’s lying. Watch this interview and note that he has not practiced his lines enough to even sound convincing. Also, his website doesn’t even mention the issue or have a policy on it. No issue = no policy = doesn’t give a hoot except to win the election.

However, it did seem to once be a litmus test for a conservative.

It's hard to worry about abortion when your job just went to Mexico.

Glad you have the ability to distinguish between the women’s health that PP provides and their abortuaries.

Your degrees of subtlety astound me.

The Trump fanboys will just say it shows his outside the box thinking...he's a winner!

I was doing some more thinking on this tonight. What really gets me with this: Trump is the one who has stood up to the media and essentialy flipped them the bird when he needed to. He didn't have a problem b!*%h slapping Meghan Kelly, so to speak. So why on this issue, is he not coming on in the usual strong bombastic Trump style? Is he afraid of the war on women label from the media?
