I too attend Calvary Chapel. Very good teaching church.
I will note, when reading through the posts almost every pro Trump post is bitter, angry, attacking, accusing.
I think that, deep down, the people that support Trump really do know he’s not our guy; he is not conservative and he’s a loose cannon but they’re angry too so they’re waving his flag. We’re all angry at what’s been happening to our nation. But we’re going right back to a guy making high falutin’ promises without an ounce of conviction for our cause, in the case of Trump.

Yes, I agree. They seem to be wishing him into being their guy more than he is. Just too many things about the guy that really scares me.
I do believe we are in the end times, whether it come in 10 years or 100. In the vast scheme of things even 100 years is like a nano second.
When I hear Trump I hear the same kind of rhetoric I heard from Obama and tens of millions bought into it. Well, now we have our Obama, and his name is Trump.
What really disturbs me is I am connected with hundreds of good born again Christians who know the word and always converse with me about it. However, many like Trump, or they re undecided and keep saying they lean to Ted Cruz but are not sure and they keep saying they like what they hear from Trump.
Talk about scratching those itchy ears. That is what Trump is doing, and they are falling asleep to his rhetoric like a dog in your lap when you scratch their ears.
Every time I read a Christian posting things they like about Trump, I am reminded of Paul's warning to Timothy about scratching those itchy ears.
