good one!
I’m a little right of Ghenghis Khan, and even I remember Reagan granted an amnesty. No flowers for his grave.
Remember Reagan was a B movie actor and he only got a C in college.
Donald Trump is no Ronald Reagan.
Thanks for the post. Close your eyes, change names and you feel like you are on FR with Cruz supporters.
I will accept the Donald Trump is Ronald Reagan comparisons the day you present video footage of him using (or sorry I mean simply repeating, as if the nuance matters) pu**y or physically mocking a disabled person on television. Produce that, and I’ll agree the Donald is like Reagan.
Yeah. RR was a lot like trump. Jeesh.
Where do you guys come up with this crap?
Have you sent this over to Kos yet?
yes I remember it well...Reagan was too old, colored his hair, and starred in a movie with a chimpanzee. Do you want that in your president folks? I also remember the day of his inauguration and how proud we were to have someone with so much style and class heading in a limosine to the White House. (Jimmy Carter walked down Pennsylvania to the White House, to show how humble and energy conscious he was)
What a great flashback!
Now this one is made-up, from the last season of Fargo, where Reagan was on the campaign trail in 1978, but peole actually did hold it against him because “he made a movie with a monkey”. But even cynical Karl Weathers, Esquire wasn’t able to resist the Reagan charm:

They were trying to portray Reagan as too conservative.
Donald Trump is NO Ronald Reagan. Reagan had demonstrated his conservative bona fides for twenty five years as a conservative stump speaker, co-chair of the Goldwater Campaign, and as a conservative governor of California.
The question is not whether or not Trump is TOO conservative, but whether he is conservative at all. Even Rush, who gave him the benefit of the doubt, now concedes that Trump is NOT a conservative.
Reagan had a record as a Governor of one of the largest states in the union
Trump has a very uneven record as a businessman
the similarities actually stop there (before they ever got started)
Reagan had been a liberal democrat in his earlier years and voted for FDR four times and admired FDR.
