Watch for Corker to introduce a process where Obama's appointee is automatically confirmed unless he or she is voted down.
It will be just like Iran. Laugh now, but it's a totally a move that the GOP would do...just so they could say they voted against the appointee!
Ha ha! Only halfway joking....we are screwed!

If that happens we need to show up en masse at the square with effigies galore and every body’s cell phone on “record video”. Enough with the madness.

At first impression one is impelled to say that Donald Trump is utterly irrelevant to this process but when one considers the scurrilous history of Donald Trump's dealmaking one can easily understand how he will broker a deal between McConnell and Obama by the terms of which McConnell agrees to an appointee who will rule against Cruz on natural birth citizenship.
McConnell will go for the deal because he, like Trump, is a dealmaker with the other side and he knows he will be able to cut deals with Trump but not with Cruz and Obama will go for the deal because he will get a leftist judge.

I don’t think THAT will happen or will need to be attempted. Watch McConnell and the boy king shove Alex Holder down our throats.

No. In the car. When they call out the water cannons to douse the flames of the burning effigies is when we begin to meander back to our vehicles. They need to be the aggressors. Otherwise we are no more than terrorists for the unbiased evening news.

No one expects McC or Grassley to maintain a “no-vote” position all year. They will be motivated by the liberals in their own ranks.

Now I've gone from depressed to really depressed. And Trump would say he's for an Obama appointment in return for a Hillary indictment or who knows what.

Yep.... they have to go through the process.... take them to committee. FIrst one dies in committee. 2nd one goes to committee.... comes out of committee and gets voted down. 3rd one dies in committee. I figure about 3 can drag it out for a year. That’s how they have to go about it....

It would have to be done with a Constitutional Amendment. Or maybe not, anymore.
