I asked that question last week and the Cruz supporters said that Mike Lee is afraid to because of Hatch who doesn’t like Lee and is up for reelection and don’t want any dirt for Hatch to us.
A stupid excuse for Cruz’s lack of support by conservatives but nothing new with the Cruz fans.

I had no problem with location of birth...UNTIL I read that his parents names were on a voting list for the year he was born. Would that not make them citizens of CANADA at the time of his birth? Are their voting standard like ours?
Dual citizenship came into being, but I do not know the year. Our Founding Fathers wanted to be sure the person elected had NO OTHER Allegiance. Only to our Constitution and NOT to any other country!
It may be well past time for a court ruling or a constitutional change to clear the path for well meaning candidates. Can anything be done by the election this year? NO, If people had just questioned it and started 8 years ago we would not be dealing with it now. So much time has been wasted over location of birth.
Child with an American mother and no known father would be ineligible, I don’t think so! (Think about it...Clinton has a birth certificate, but is it correct)
By the way, Rubio’s parents were not citizens when he was born! That might need a ruling too. Not until several years later did they become citizens...Cuban immigration had some special variables in the law as I understand it. He is, however, a perfect example of a person wanting special treatment for immigrants.
I wish we might clear this all up for the future. All these illegal immigrants need to know that becoming PRESIDENT is not part of their American Dream.
