Nearly two out of three of these oral cancers in the United States and most western nations are caused by infection with the HPV 16 strain of the virus, and incidence of cancer is on the rise in recent years, said Gypsyamber D'Souza, who teaches epidemiology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
Middle aged white men are at particularly high risk compared to other races.

The reason may be that when women are first exposed to HPV vaginally, they mount an immune response that prevents them from getting an oral HPV infection, she said.
But men do not seem to have equally robust immune responses.
"Men are not only more likely to be infected with oral HPV infection than women, but our research shows that once you become infected, men are less likely to clear this infection than women, further contributing for the cancer risk."

When I was a young man (before we had all of these diseases) my father said to me, “show me a man that won’t *** his wife & I will take her away from him”. My dad was a gentleman of the old school, so I was somewhat stunned to hear him say that. /chuckle.

I saw Gene at the NAMM (trade show) Show a few years ago.
He is talking to the Audience about his success, He says, “I can’t even read Music and I’m a Millionaire”.
We all cracked up and realized that he is a much sharper Businessman than anyone gives him credit for. He motivated the Audience by being both funny and serious at the same time. He really knows his stuff and he is one self confident SOB for sure.
Even the short Tongued amongst us were impressed.
I also saw Yoko Ono there, that was interesting.

When I was 18, the Love of my Life (yeah, I was a Maroon) broke my Heart. She tore it from my Chest and stomped on it for effect.

Alcoholic beverages (and heavy consumption of carbonated beverages) reduce the mucosa shield in the mouth and throat, and smokers who smoke while drinking are many times more susceptible to the harmful effects of the carcinogens in tobacco smoke. This same principle of reduced mucosal protection is likely a contributor to increased HPV infections of the mouth and throat.

God made a lot of rules about sex to keep us healthy and mentally fit. He knows the laws of the creation He designed. It is not wise to ignore the rules even as insane fads beckon, as they pass through humanity. There is nothing “free” about sex except the sad consequences when we get off track. Liberals even lie about the consequences they see. It is up to each individual to choose their own fate.
