Why was it a terrible debate?
I think Rubio won when it comes to “debating” technique and improvement over his last performance.
I just saw Rubio won on the CBS poll this morning after the interviews of Trump and Rubio. Is there another one?

They asked everyone in the audience to applaud for their favourite candidate, and Bubio got the loudest. Jebby was second. Trump lost. /s

FORGIVE ME FOR REPEATING THIS BUT I THINK IT BEARS REPEATING.
Trump has a chance to blow this wide open next Saturday. A win here might see some big endorsements.
In the South Carolina primary the winner gets 29 delegates guaranteed. The remaining 21 delegates will be given to the person who wins each of the seven congressional districts.
It stands to reason that if Trump is this far ahead he stands to win all seven districts as well. This means that he could very well sweep all 50 delegates in South Carolina. Then whomever takes second third fourth etc. is meaningless.
I’m predicting Trump will win all 50 delegates in South Carolina next week if he remains 15 pts or more above the next person.
Does anyone know what is the key voting district in South Carolina, ie the district that seems to pick the winners consistently?

I am thinking Jeff Sessions is waiting for Trump to win a couple more primaries maybe SC and NV and then he’s going to endorse Trump just before the SEC.

Wouldn’t that be an outlier? Newsweek also always ran polls that reflected the views of its editorial staff rather than the public.

CBS Twitter Feed this morning says:
Trump: 42%
Cruz: 20%
Rubio: 15%
Kasich: 9%
Bush: 6%
Carson: 6%
Trump won last night, was the only one who brought up the businesses going into Mexico...
He is going to ‘blow down the walls’ from here on out!!!
Why hide? Let’s be like Mr. Trump and openly fight. Really the mods should block them out of these threads. One warning and if they continue, kick them out for a time. The Cruz supporters would find us even surrounded in an anonymous babble, probably reading this post right now. Go Trump!

I am a bit older than Trump at 93 but hate what has happened to my country I love and gave 5+ years of my life fighting for in WW2.
America gave the world some 70 years of relative peace along with a strong economy where folks could work and climb the ladder of the American Dream if they wished. We gave the world, especially our enemies of WW2, a hand up and helped rebuild their countries as well.
We also knew that men were men and women were wemon along with the joy of knowing the difference.
Many of my countrymen believd this country was founded on Christian Principles and prayed for it every week. Now, look at what we have.
No longer can our children salute the flag (for which many died protecting) or say a prayer to their Creator in a schoolroom.
Our people are divided by a political class that hates this country and has changed who we are, what we are told to believe, lies about the glory and decency that was America, prays for our destruction.
We, the People, have let this happen by not picking leaders that were honest, decent, God fearing and loving the America so many fought and some died for over more than 200 years
Now, we have ONE chance to make a change.
I beg you do not ‘screw it upâ€, since I have 40 grand and great grandchildren who must live with what you do. Cheers
