To all. My Mom had the same issue. She couldn't
stop coughing. It took about a year but we finally found out
the high blood pressure medicine was the culprit. Poor Mom!
Changed medication and Ta da! no more coughing.
And...I’ll bet it is lisinopril.
I take it (40mg/day) and have no problem but, I am among the few in which it does not cause a dry cough.
Doctor told me the best way to control HBP at my age is consistent exercise.
