Just off the top of my head, for me this falls under the “just because you can do it doesn’t necessarily make it a good idea” category.
I don’t believe it will work, anyways.............
Bad experiences make one more cautious and are necessary for gaining wisdom. On the other hand some can be so traumatic that they ruin peoples lives. Very fine line to walk here.
If they can do this then what's to stop our government from making the populace more pliable and amenable by removing ANY memories. This is dangerous stuff.
