Yes, he stopped himself from diving on the ball. I believe that the Bronco defense got him scared early on and it affected his throws, his timing and was all punctuated with the beating they put on him. Did he quit, no. He was in a scared position that he was not accustom to playing in and his lack of experience got the best of him.

Watched a couple of videos of ‘common tators’ after the game who did not want to take the ‘shine’ off Cam.
Not sure what that meant for sure, other than diminish his ‘star’ status???
