99% of the time you see those guys with a banzai dive at the ball. Totally instinctive.
It ain’t just Cam...there are several wide-outs that simply step out instead of getting hit.

Newton was standing there, and I said aloud, “C’mon Cam get out in front of him and block.”
Newton’s a big QB, and I’m sure he could have made a difference for his guy working in a broken field.
Does he have a Joe Namath clause in his contract? The one which forbade Namath rorm making tackles, even if he’d just thrown and interception.
