If I want steak I almost always pay for tenderloin - it is pricey but so worth it. Most others just seem so tough and I never enjoy them as much.

I am totally with you. if I can’t have tenderloin, I won’t eat steak, nothing else tastes good to me. I’d rather have chicken than a ribeye or NY strip.

I go for the porterhouse. It’s like a NY Strip and tenderloin in one steak. By the time I get to the steak, though, I rarely eat even a quarter of it, so I have some for breakfast and lunch the next day.

We used to visit Outback on occasion. I don’t know if I changed or they changed, but now I find their meats tougher than jerky and barely edible.
