It is a new site but I thought there was a thing about duplicate or near-duplicate threads. I may be wrong though, I’m still pretty new here and my understanding is my opinions are 100% invalid because of that.

I did not say All day. I said I was out for a while today, and I did not see any of the posts, so I appreciate the post. I often will do a bump on a story that I believe Freepers might want to see—and these stories are not limited to the election. Frankly, there is a lot of news going on that is being ignored because of the feuding on this site.
Didn’t mean to be so sensitive, but there seems to be a move afoot by some of the more vitriolic Cruz supporters to extinguish any news stories that are not supportive of their chosen candidate.
I hope your true objection was that you saw what was a violation of sorts and not that a negative article about Cruz is appearing frequently on the latest post page and you don’t like the content...
From what I have seen, for better or worse, it seems to me there is equal posting of anti-Cruz and anti-Trump stories.
