"I don't believe I have been given any credit by the voters for self-funding my campaign, the only one. I will keep doing, but not worth it!" @realDonaldTrump
I speak Trump.
He’s saying he might as well take donations from majors like Cruz.
But probably wont.
But should.
He is saying, IMO, that he will continue to self-fund his campaign even as he is disappointed that self-funding seems to provide little benefit voter-wise.
...if everyone doesn't stop being mean to him.
DANGER, DANGER WILL ROBINSON!!!
Find out later that she did not purchase the cars for those people, it was a marketing and advertising ploy by the car maker.
It cost her nothing to "give away new cars." She did them a favor that really cost her nothing or next to nothing. Sorta like walking around chump change.
Trump represents the Oprah-nization of American politics.
So basically he’s calling the voters ungrateful because they didn’t give him what he wanted. Just like the spoiled little brat he is.
To be perfectly honest, and speaking as a Trump supporter, I don’t have the slightest idea what he was trying to say there.
Big Trump supporter, but this is an ill-advised tweet (not that Trump takes advice from anyone). But yeah, it’s not a good look to complain that “the voters” aren’t giving you credit for something.
Trump should have kept the tone from last night. Positive. 7 votes to Cruz’s 8.
Five thousand vote difference. Move on.
Trump spent 300$ per vote. Jeb spent 5000$!
Hollywood. Cruz. MSM. The pundits.
It was one state. Many more miles to travel.
I believe Rush thought Trump may have been saying that the effort to constantly try and tell voters that he was funding his own campaign “was not worth it”.
It sounds to me like he is saying “Look at how much of my own money I spent and you Iowan rejects didn’t vote for me! What’s wrong with you people? You are so not worth it. I will keep spending my own money to influence people who appreciate the importance of being a billionaire.”
That is my take. Unfortunately, much of what Trump says is completely open to interpretation. Everyone walks away with a different idea about what he really means. No one knows for sure. It’s Trump. Others will have a completely different interpretation. They don’t really know either. It’s Trump. Trump probably doesn’t know. His fingers Tweet faster than his brain engages. It’s Trump.
Dear Trumpbot... Who do you think represents New York values money... the guy who has fought the establishment or the guy who funded them?
- Not a Cruz bot... but he is my favorite in the current lineup.
"I don't believe I have been given any credit by the voters for self-funding my campaign, the only one. I will keep doing, but not worth it!" @realDonaldTrumpTrump is saying the ignorant voters fail to give him credit for spending a little bit of his billions. Trump is bitter and angry... at the voters. Strangely says their thankless ignorance is not worth it but he will keep doing it.
Guess who isn’t BOUGHT ? TRUMP !!!!!!!!! works for America
Guess who IS BOUGHT ? Tricky Dick Cruz ! It is OBVIOUS.
Would anyone NOT bought be doing the downright criminal things he has been doing ??????? forced to by his handlers - those he is obligated to do their bidding. or else
obviously he’s dropping out.
Wow................... ok guys..............TDS is in full effect.
Just go enjoy your guys 1 delegate lead. Let it go.............
I’m still wondering why the media isn’t blasting Trump for trying to buy the presidency. Maybe Trump called in a few favors, or perhaps they’re just holding on to that attack for later.
“Not worth it? Does that mean he is going to seek donations or that he is dropping out?”
I think it means that even though Iowan’s did not appreciate his personal sacrifices he would continue to soldier on unloved and unappreciated sarc/
Translation: “Love me and my sacrifices for you... or FU.”
When Bloomberg spent $102,000,000 in the NYC Mayoral election, it was not unusual to hear how he bought his victory.
I had never thought of it in those terms, but hey-—Great job Donald!! I give you credit for trying to buy the Oval Office!!!
If I had a Twitter account, I would give him this credit all over Twitterdom.
