Dead Woman, 2 Live Monkeys Found in Florida Motel Room: Police

Authorities discovered the Capuchin monkeys in crates, the North Port police said in a statement.

Police identified the woman as Linda Marie Smith, 59, of Arcadia, Florida. She was found Friday at a Budget Inn in North Port

"There was no obvious signs of trauma to Smith’s body," police said. "The cause of death is undetermined at this point. The medical examiner will soon conduct an autopsy."

An incoherent man, who was in the room with her, received medical attention and was undergoing questioning.

Decades ago there was a good looking gal that worked for a travel agency my company dealt with and she would always deliver the airline tickets for our managers to our payroll dept.

One day I decided to ask her out to lunch and while dining, the topic turned to pets and she said she had a pet monkey..........I think monkeys are disgusting creatures and people who own them as pets are weird....I never asked her out again.

I sincerely regret posting my complaint today. My mistake. And thanks Zeke for reminding me why, as a lurker since '98, I didn't particularly want to sign on to this site back then. Yes, FR had then -- and still has -- a large share of inconsiderate unwashed (won't wipe) forum stinkers, not that you are one. Other FReepers such as I, who didn't appreciate some of the posters then, have remained here anyway and mostly endure the continuing crappy threads such as today's placenta pizza thread.

So, I too was here and was watching back in the "good ol' days" of FR, Zeke. Yes, I remember what all went on then and what sort of FR posters constituted the uncivil peanut gallery even back then.
