One other point...
....when God starts working in your heart you don’t go from 0 to 90 from ‘ newborn Christian’ to ‘fully understanding Christian’ overnight, not usually.
God gives sinners saved by Grace the room and the time to ‘grow’.....
... and those of us who know the Lord should do the same.
I think it is important that he reveres his mother, that she gave him his Bible, that she was brought up on a secluded aisle in Scotland where the Bible was taught in a deeply religious (Presbyterian) era.
She imparted much to him....
