INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) â Hundreds of Hoosiers pigged out in downtown Indianapolis for a good cause Saturday.
The Crane Bay Event Center just blocks from Lucas Oil Stadium hosted the second annual Bacon Fest.
Bacon lovers sampled cured pork creations from more than 20 vendors.
Novelties included bacon-wrapped bacon and donuts with bacon and Nutella.
VIPig tickets were sold for early entrance to the event.
A portion of the money raised at the Bacon Fest was donated to Gleanorâs Food Bank to help feed the needy.
Sorry I missed this event. OTOH, my first stop at the Indiana State Fair was always the Pork Producers tent for the smoked pork chop dinner. I usually went thru twice.
