In fairness, Bill Buckley died BEFORE Obozo took office and before we were confronted with the impossibly horrible choice of Romney or Obozo. OTOH, voting conscience is NEVER wrong.

Your statement about conscience is very important.

People decide these things on many levels, and ‘intellect’ is, I believe, one of a lower order than gut-feeling and *conscience*.

We all have a lot of different ways of ‘knowing’. We should stop fighting, and leave our confreres to their own knowings.

In all fairness, we were confronted with similar choices all along. The crisis had simply not matured to the level it is today. The best remedy for keeping healthy is to have the wisdom to treat conditions early and often. When they take root and spread, the knife is all that is left. Voting for a dull hatchet wielded by a snake oil merchant is not the cure.
