That’s a stupid question...I expect better from you.....
I’m with you, KC. Always have been. I’m a Trump supporter, but - as much as I’d like to - I won’t stay home if Cruz wins the nomination.
When Hillary Clinton states that she wants to appoint Obama to the Supreme Court, I woke up and any temptation to pout fell away.
No. I don’t like Cruz, but I’ll crawl over broken glass to stop Clinton.
The presidency that Obama relinquishes (hopefully) will have more in common with the office held by Hugo Chavez than George Washington. IOW, the next prez, no matter who, will have despotic powers. It is time to reclaim our free republic. Elections alone are insufficient.
Absolute truth in this statement folks. Read it again.
Article V in corrupted institutions coerced to lawlessness themselves may also prove to be ineffective. We have a federal Beast that is lawless and States that wither from opposition the second federal funds are threatened to be withdrawn.
We have exhausted the soap and ballot boxes which are of themselves corrupted into tools for the Ruling Class. That leaves one. And one that the entire Beast in DC is working to rid We The People of.
Article V is a necessary step however. A necessary last resort before the bullets begin flying, which will be necessary to restore any semblance of a Republic.
Because then, the cause for liberty will have it's justification for what must come next.
If there is one thing in history that is constant - it is that you cannot stop despotism or tyranny via civil means.
That said, I am sadly becoming more convinced each day that the vast majority of this country is not interested in a Republic, but the majority wants Socialism. That is something they will fight for and take to the streets. Importing millions of third world welfare leech Leftists and Islamists over the decades has made that inevitable.
Conservatives, not so much. And the Left knows this. When we do show up for peaceful protest, their contempt and scorn is parroted by the media and we are again shamed into silence and turned on one another.
Like every single Republic that came before us, we committed national suicide.
The great failure is in the hearts of people and the apostasy of our churches. I do not care a whit for religion - only that which conforms a soul to the very word and spirit of God. Our sectarianism has severed us from our Creator and, after that, it is only a simple matter to hollow out human institutions for evil purposes.
When the bulwark of our Judeo-Christian ideals is gone, all else fails. Propping up our system without the enlightenment and morality of God himself will only fit us for the chimneys which are sure to come (and they are already here for millions of babies).
AMEN! Best truthful reply on this thread. Because THAT ladies and gentlemen, is the absolute pure Truth, a Truth few to none want to hear.
The Republic is already gone, fundamentally transformed into the beast it now is. Notice that this happened as the Christian Church in America grew lukewarm and morphed into a self-help entertainment industry. We are become no different than the Germans under the Reich. There's been a genocide of the unborn which we largely ignore. Planned Parenthood videos anyone? Look what just happened to those who were brave enough to showcase the real evil taking place under our watch.
The vacuum of power via indifference Christians left behind was filled by despotic Leftist beasts. Chimneys and mass graves are indeed our future given history, both biblical and secular. A people not willing to fight against anything are a people who will be conquered by everything.
Both Rome and England walked up to the line of despotism and stepped back. They subsequently enjoyed some great centuries before eventually succumbing to un-free government.
Also on the bright side is that (AFAIK) no people ever sat down to frame or amend their institutions in order to enslave themselves.
In recent years, the people via the ballot box and their states have shown a LOT of resistance to our rulers in DC. We voted to boot the rats from congressional control in 2010, 2012, and the states have brought numerous suits against the Obama tyranny. Something like 66 of 99 state houses are not in rat hands.
I still occasionally visit a political daydream in which President Cruz informs the American people that he alone cannot possibly restore free government and that it is up to us to make it happen.
I still contend that a lawless government will never allow itself to be restrained by any laws or efforts the people attempt to put upon it. That too, is historically self-evident.
It will take the use of force to do so, and that is where I have my doubts as to the willingness of this people to risk their lives, fortunes and sacred honor to do so against a lawless beast that is made up of their corrupted countrymen.
Actually, I found that out when George Wallace was shot.
Thank you and may God save the Republic.
