"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then the fight you, then the you WIN" the inspirational meme featuring Donald Trump raising his arm to display victory fingers read. Trump's biggest endorser Sarah Palin posted the image to her Facebook page Thursday night as the Republican presidential frontrunner dared to diss cable news giant Fox News and rejected his centerstage position at the last debate before the Iowa caucus. Palin applauded the move, thanking the Donald for turning his back on Fox and "for bringing victory to our Vets."
"It IS morning in America!" Palin rejoiced. "Tonight's Trump success is a precursor of great things," Palin promised.
"America'd tv remote controls feature two buttons tonight -- victory and defeat," Palin wrote in support of Trump's competing campaign rally purportedly in support of veterans groups. Palin was such a booster of Trump's gamesmanship she was forced to thank CNN, one network that aired Trump's event while Fox held the GOP debate: "Thanks to CNN for bringing this uplifting, patriotic broadcast into our living rooms."

How was the event itself?
I watched Fox.
Go Sarah!
Go Trump!
“How was the event itself?”
Hard to tell on CNN. They cut away to their panel anytime a guest speaker took the mic or Trump was about to make a strong point. (”We’ll cut away now, as Trump goes to his standard stump speech”)
I turned it off after the cut away when the vets got to the mic. Wish I’d known it was also on CSpan, interruption-free.
After the dark and stormy night of Obama, it will seem like morning (again) like it did under Reagan.
They just reported that the debate brought in 12 million viewers. Trumps deal brought in 2 million.
51k were on rightside
I was 9 but remember things started to feel better after Reagan won within a few days.
Seeing the wun and fellow travelers gone from 1600 and replaced by someone who cares about America can’t come too soon.
I watched it on NEWSMAX, so I don’t know how they can figure a true number of viewers for the veterans event with so many different stations covering it. And the coverage was very good there.
Go Sarah!
Go Trump!
I got that feeling in spades when Newt’s CWA took control of Congress. It was the first Republican Congress in thirty years. My boss at the time had been a child in Korea when they were invaded by the North. He said overnight communist flags went up everywhere and it felt like a different country. The new Congress was a feeling like that, but in a GOOD way.
And Sarah yelled in that lovely, soothing screetch: “It is morning in America!”
Fox paid Sarah a lot of money for her infrequent appearances on the network.
I just hope Trump appoints Sarah to something highly visible, some role that will make the media and the libs heads explode daily, I think I’d like that.
GO SARAH GO
The event was meaningful! I watched it on c-span. You can find it on you tube, I think or maybe Sundance will post it on his site.
We will take her, you can have your new buddy and Cruz friend Stephen Colbert.
But, the internet watchers, OAN and C-SPAN numbers weren’t inclueded in that 2 million, were they? Nope!
Sorry, no use for Colbert, but thanks for the thought! :-)
Let’s not forget Glenn Beck.
