They really shouldn’t be thrown in frustration.

You’d never run into an iPad problem on the sidelines because they aren’t even used.

Microsoft suffered another public black eye during the AFC championship game Sunday between the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots, when the tablets on the Patriots' sidelines apparently failed.

Here is Microsoft's temporary solution.

man, i did graphics for 20 years and microsoft didn’t catch up for years an years to the speed of an apple.

just better advertising in the beginning, or something, i guess.

anyway, i didn’t want Brady to break Montana’s record, so good. :)

Sports Authority Field @ Mile High is a Dead Zone for the Patriots in more ways than one. ;)

I didn't see a sarcasm tag so that qualifies and perhaps the dumbest post I ever saw here.

If Surface is the official NFL tablet, doesn’t that mean the other team was using the same device but not necessarily the same network?

lol my husband said the same thing but I pointed out it sounded like a network issue. But of course he insists macs never have any problems. lol whatever. I use microcrap, which certainly has plenty of flaws, but macs are not flawless.

Wireless networking in a venue where there were probably 75,000 or more devices with WiFi enabled and people trying to connect to anything that shows up is going to be a challenge.

The most entertaining part of this incident was the late-game TV spot called “Microsoft Surface Key Adjustments” or some such.

It’s a free-form ad that talks about what adjustments needed to be made or key turning point of the game. Last night’s was something about the Pat’s offensive line, but it really should have been about getting the Surface’s back online.”

Haha...

the issue was not related to the tablets themselves but rather an issue with the network,"

So the network failed for the visiting team but not the home team? No surprise there. At least Denver wasn’t deflating the balls to get their unfair advantage.

For some reason during the NFC Championship game Carson Palmer was going old school and looking at a binder full of photos. Maybe he would of played better if he used a Surface. :0

Oh really? So whenever you put an apple device on wireless network the wireless network always performs flawlessly? It magically conveys automatic fixes to the wiring, routers, IP protocols and every other component used to bring that signal? Amazing! I want one!
