Good for Cruz, I applaud him for his efforts an I support him for it What has he accomplished? Abortion isn't going to change in this Country until enough people wake up to the horror and truth of it and demand the change.
Sad to say, that time has not arrived yet and even sadder it is not an issue in this election. Cruz is doing what he has to do to rally supporters, but it's not enough to win this time around.

Cruz will fight to get as much pro life legislation as possible passed. He also has said that on day one he would have his attorney general start an investigation of planned parenthood. He might not be able to get abortion completely banned but he would use the bully pulpit of the white house to persuade the country that every life deserves protection.
On the other hand, Trump just ignored the anniversary of Roe v. Wade because he apparently cares very little about the unborn.

Roe v Wade can be overturned by appointing the right judges, especially to the USSC.
The fact that Trump has been silent on this compounds the problem in that he thinks his sister would make a solid USSC justice. She's a pro-abortion fanatic and has no issue with partial birth abortion.
Donald Trump told Mark Halperin yesterday that his sister, a federal judge, would be a phenomenal Supreme Court justice.
Maryanne Trump Barry came up in my book The Party of Death for writing one of those heated judicial decisions in favor of giving constitutional protection to partial-birth abortion. She called a New Jersey law against it a desperate attempt to undermine Roe v. Wade. It was, she wrote, based on semantic machinations, irrational line-drawing, and an obvious attempt to inflame public opinion instead of logic or medical evidence. It made no difference where the fetus was when it expired.
