I’m not exactly “feeling the Bern”.

Are you supposed to get in on the blizzard? I turned on the news briefly when I got back from the woods and saw that NYC is already getting hit. It was 28 at 7AM-it is partly cloudy and 57 now...

We are getting no snow at all, too far inland. 24 degrees right now.

You are lucky-it looks like a lot of big cities in several states are pretty much coming to a standstill...

I got 10 inches of snow, but it’s stopped now. We were just on the western edge of it, and it’s moving away.

I’m glad it pretty much missed you-how unusual is 10 inches of snow where you are-here it doesn’t happen more than once in at least 10-12 years-it used to happen even less often when I was a kid, but Winters were warmer than they are now-it didn’t even go below freezing at night all that often but I’m sure that is because of global warming...

10 inches is major enough. Anything over 6 is pretty much at least temporarily disruptive. More typical is the 3-6 inches for an event. The 1-3 inches and overnight coatings are pretty routine.
