Unlike the Cruzer I finally freaked out on a couple of days ago.
I appreciated the class that Cruz had when he reacted to the Palin endorsement. I'm still pretty shocked at the "Cruz is the only one" ex Palin defenders.
The difference between them and the one they support is stunning.
I don't care for that kind of thing either, I don't care for quite a few things with Trump, but he's not running for pastor, and one thing I've noticed, he's not anti Christian in the slightest.
That adulterer and drinker of a fifth of whiskey per night Sir Winston did great things in defending the Judeo/Christian ethic in his life.
John Wesley when asked about this kind of thing quipped that the last thing he would do if he was drowning, would be to ask the one dragging him to safety if he was a faithful Christian.
Just some thoughts.
I'm headed to bed, have a good one.
But thank you for the acknowledgement.
I've chewed on you once or twice. :)
I'm not trying to sell Cruz voters on Trump.
I wish they'd leave the Trump voters alone. They're NOT doing themselves any favors, as you can see by mine & Lakeshark's comments.
I’d vote for Trump, with only slightly more enthusiasm than I’d give to Jeb, but I would.
Will he be supporting the nominee if it’s not him? I’m not so sure about that.
Thank you.
I believe the conservative movement is split. And this is the same issues that happened in the Tea Party. These days you have the Glenn Beck, Ted Cruz, NRO, Weekly Standard, Mark Levin crew on one side and you have the Sheriff Arpaio, Virgil Goode, Donald Trump, Sarah Palin, Michael Savage crew on the other side. I don’t think they agree on fundamental issues sometimes. There is also a crew for Rubio, who is conservative, but is way off to the establishment side on amnesty.
I should add that I fall in the middle. But I have seen about 15 or more Trump rally’s and he is good. I like him a lot. I was impressed by Cruz when he went off on Mitch McConnell. But I am set on Trump winning the nomination. I was hoping that they wouldn’t get this brutal. But this is turning into the same thing as Newt vs. Santorum. I was for Santorum then. I am now leaning toward Trump. Cruz is nice guy, but this isn’t his time. Neither guy is 100% perfect but Trump is appealing to me a little more. Heck, I wanted Walker and Jindal once, but always liked Cruz. But Trump is just real good. I wouldn’t mind trying him first.
I think we all appreciate the folks who like both. I love the Trumpsters, even the one who could never support Cruz on philosophical principle.
I don't think any candidate will ever be our last or only hope. God is in control.
