Everyone step back a second and take a breath.
Where do any of you get off lobbing personal insults at our candidates and at each other? For a site that prides itself on intellectual conversations regarding policy, we have devolved into a hatefest between supporters of two candidates that can lead this country out of the sewer the left put us in.
I am seeing posts from people making fun of Sarah Palin's son. And making fun of Sarah Palin. SARAH PALIN! There are people here who are personally destroying Ted Cruz. TED CRUZ. These are the same two people who saved Conservatism, brought home the vote in 2010-2014 and supported the TEA party which led to a resurgence. The same TEA party that worked their butts off to bring in Conservative candidates.
On the flip side we have Donald Trump, who while not a purist can save this country by stopping the invasion of the US from illegals and terrorists. Who can wield his financial muscle in making America a financial powerhouse once again which would bring in jobs and money. And here we are, calling him names, posting stories from left wing news outlets and praising them for their investigative journalism.
Everyone on this forum knows what is at stake. We know our backs are against the wall and the liberals are reloading for another volley. Fighting amongst ourselves only plays into the libs hands. They brought this fight to us and we eagerly lapped it up and asked for more. It's a freaking shame.
If you want Trump, great. What are his policies, why is he the best candidate to back America off the ledge. If you want Cruz, great. Same reasoning. If you want Bush, Christie, Kascish, Paul, sorry, I cannot help you. Get Obamacare and find a good shrink who doesn't have a "Loons for Hillary" sticker on her door.
Come on people. Have a bit of respect for not only the candidates, but for each other. It's what separates us from the idiots on the left. Capiche????

I’m working on not attacking anyone who doesn’t deserve it. So far so good.
Thank God we live in a country where we can challenge each other without a jail sentence or a bullet through our head.

Sorry. I have listened to trumpees bash Cruz for the BC, GS and all the rest of the stuff DT has drug up Huck style and their adoring love for DT and denial that anything he has ever said or done matters. As long as that goes on I will defend Cruz with facts and a smile.
Controversy is natural and healthy. The current drum-beating is boring, tendentious, and ultimately counterproductive for all the candidates in question. My two cents.

Thank you. I let everyone know whose side I’m on (Cruz), and when Trump gets an unfair attack from ANYbody (Dems, media, Cruz supporters, other candidates) I am willing to post an honest defense.
As long as Trump continues to say pro-life things, I’ll not be looking for a fight.
I believe the main problem comes when an early poster in a thread says “In before the [Trump/Cruz] bashing”, which is a bit of a goad. Agree or disagree with posts already posted, not those you anticipate.
IF you want to accuse someone of ebing a stooge or paid flunky, you better have real evidence, and not just that this person doesn’t see the obvious logic of your position.

I’m a Cruz supporter, but Trump is growing on me.
I think Trump has a better chance of winning. Obama won by acting like a celebrity, why can’t Trump?

It’s incredibly ridiculous. Either man would be 1,000,000 times preferable to the current occupant of the oval office. We’re lucky to have both of them obviously dedicated to bringing America back to some semblance of common sense. After the election, I’m certain they’ll work together in some capacity just fine, and laugh about this little dustup.

However, I think the people with all the venom on either side are a tiny slice of the overall FR community.
The fact that some of them are now demonizing Sarah Palin just reinforces to me that they truly are kooks.

There are people on this forum that throw slime at Ann Coulter. She's on our side.
There are kooks on this board that have been demonizing Bill OReilly for years.
That man has been on the air for 20 years fighting against liberalism and corruption. He's on our side.

For myself I think Trump is the one most able to get elected over any dimoKKKRAT. I want change in Washington. Now if Cruz is the nominee I will gladly support him every way I can.
