Entertainers are way too concerned about stroking their egos by give one another award after award. How about an Oscar or Emmy for a plumber, electrician, auto mechanic, etc.?

I can’t remember the last time I watched The Oscars. In fact, I’m not sure I’ve ever watched it in its entirety. Too much self-congratulations and pomposity for my liking.

I stopped watching the Oscars years ago. I don't even know the no-name actors, directors, etal, anymore. Hardly anybody does.

When Cary Grant, John Wayne, Rita Hayworth, Gary Cooper, Bette Davis. etc. stepped up to the dais, I knew who the hell they were!

I won't watch tonight either, but I will put an empty card table chair by my TV in honor of the silver screen's put-upon and ignored minority - CONSERVATIVES !

Film buffs: I've always thought we could reverse our irreparable racism in the United States (thankfully non-existent in the rest of the world) by having someone with a cerain stature, gravitas, and je ne sais quoi - say, Morgan Freeman - play the part of a morally superior black male surrounded by racist criminal white retards. Just one or two movies would do the trick. What say you?

Spike is a sawedoff punk and a fan of the hapless Knicks...she’s quite pretty but being angry all the time likely will give her premature wrinkles. She’s light skinned...likely one parent is white and one of her parents may not have been involved in her life...people like this tend to be the outspoken, angry type.

Overall I wish our candidates would call out the Hollyweird left’s hypocrisy. Cruz and Trump should jump on it. The left is supposed to be so caring and compassionate.

The lighter-skinned blacks are always the ones with the biggest chips on their shoulders. They think they should be the ones speaking for all blacks. Because as the late Julian Bond put it, “Light-skinned blacks are more intelligent than darker blacks.” Yes, it was meant as a joke, but I think a lot of lighter-skinned blacks really do think that way.
