Why are all the women walking around in the snow with bare legs? Are they not allowed to wear pants or skirts or something?

If they're not used to snow, they may not know any better.

Further down the page, the women “sledging” with their young children have pants on, at least.

I think the snow is pretty, although I’ve watched so many “Midsomer Murders” that it makes me anticipate a lot of people’s dying.
